Growing up in Southern Indiana, Amy Murray got into bourbon at an early age. She’s been bartending since she was 21 and opened a bourbon and beer bar by the age of 24.

She moved to San Francisco a couple of years ago and was introduced to the highly educational retail side of the booze industry straight away. Other than working in retail, she earned her San Francisco bartending wings at the likes of the Alembic bar and looks forward to many guest appearances at Bourbon and Branch alongside her A-Number-One Cohort, the lovely Amanda Womack, with whom she currently runs Cask Store as Assistant Manager.

In addition to boozehounding her way through her twenties, Amy has acquired a Bachelors degree with Honors in English Literature, has studied five languages and has lived in three countries. She is also an enthusiast of Blues music and enjoys bread making.
